Incredibly nice lady that dealt with me during my stay (sorry, I didn’t get your name). Very polite and warm welcome, made me feel completely at ease. The room was clean, everything you'd expect was there and clean. Breakfast was served and again, same lady was incredibly polite and offered me breakfast and a hot drink, but I just had juice. The breakfast itself was perfect and then check out was easy. Would much rather find these gems of small local businesses and be made to feel like I mean something to them than go to a large chain of hotels and be made to feel like a number. Fantastic stay, thank you.

The room at the Aurora was perfectly fine and in line with what I expected for the price. It's not a high end hotel, but it isn't priced that way either. If you are looking for a clean room, at great value, with really friendly people greeting you, this is a good choice in Nairn. Plus, the restaurant is very good - I ate there two nights and really enjoyed the Italian meal each time.

I stayed at The Aurora for one night, on my way up to The Orkneys. The hotel was very easy to find and I was able to park in the car park to the rear. I received a warm welcome. My room was at the top of the building. The single room came with a TV and kettle, with plenty of tea and coffee, which was welcome after my drive from Cheshire. In the morning I was able to enjoy a cooked breakfast and a selection of cereals and yoghurts were also on offer. The owners were very friendly.

Fabulous hotel. We were made to feel very welcome from arriving until we left. The room was big and very clean and the bathroom had a great shower and was light and airy. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. There was a lot of attention to detail in the hotel. The breakfast was hot well cooked and good quality, We ate in the Italian restaurant downstairs in the evening and the food and service was fantastic. The portion size of all the food was very generous. I would definitely return to this hotel and restaurant.

Location of the hotel is very close to the town centre but far enough away for peace and quiet. Restaurant is amazing although the portion sizes of the meals are massive. If there isn't space in the parking area you can park safely in the street. Restaurant food is great.

This is my favourite place to stay when I'm in Inverness on a shopping trip.I always come here, it's just a 15 minute drive . I love the old world charm, the rooms are comfortable and clean, (the bath towels are thick and luxurious )the food is amazing and the hosts are wonderful, so warm and welcoming. It is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

What stands out about the Aurora Hotel and Italian Restaurant is the charm and hospitality of the owners and the deliciousness of the food that they serve. We ate dinner both nights in the restaurant because it was just so good. I didn't expect fabulous Italian food in Scotland but I was happy to indulge in it. They were just a capable of making a proper Scottish breakfast as they were making tagliatelle with porcini for dinner. It is a friendly, old-fashioned place with the unexpected bonus of Italian food and charming hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and well furnished, and the bathroom was spacious. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant - fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and served by a gracious staff. Our hosts were fantastic. Our GPS cord was malfunctioning on our road trip, so we searched the nearby shops for a replacement, with no luck since it is an old device. Our host came to our rescue! He searched among his extra cords and surprisingly found one that fit exactly. He let us have it, which truly saved us, as we were only on day three of a ten day trip. That was going the extra mile for their guests!

It is a victoria vila so there are constraints, yet the rooms are comfortable, the linen crisp, the bathroom clean and a good size. The best thing about the hotel is the staff - a family of Italiens who put their heart and soul into being welcoming hosts. The father in particular is a bit of a character and he will talk to you on any subject under the sun!. We really enjoyed the stay.

It was easy to find and with a useful car park at the back. We were made welcome at the checkout and the room was spotlessly clean and fitted our requirements well. We ate in the restaurant and the service was polite and efficient whilst the meal was both authentic and tasty. The owners were very approachable and friendly and I would thoroughly recommend The Aurora.
